WebMay 27, 2024 · I was using ProtonVPN to connect to Rockstar Website. I was also able to connect to GTA Online, but with massive lags (due to limited speed of free VPN). The internet traffic protocol says my connection hit a firewall at Rockstars servers and was refused. I don't know if they did anything to solve this.
